Susan's stitching on Larry's casket

Larry custom made this casket to fit this design. Susan did exquisite stitching!

Items for Classes I teach

I teach classes for wood lathe bowl and vessel turning. I'm making samples for the students to decide what they would like to create.
This is the inside view of a pieced bowl
This is the outside view of the same bowl.
The inside view of another bowl but in a totally different shape.

This piece is another of the tall vessel's. This time I inset pieces of a darker wood as decorative accent.

I wonder what will be the most popular items for classes this year!

Latest wood turning

This is my newest creation. Each piece is cut, then rings are glued. Rings are then glued to layer the rings. Finally it's turned out on the wood lathe. Sandy put tall fall flowers in this.

Candle Holder

I cut all the little blocks out of maple and black walnut, then I glued them and turned this on the lathe. It's designed for use with a glass votive candle holder. The glow will shine through all the holes.

New additions

This spoon is made from wavy ash - notice the wonderful pattern it has formed.

These are toddler feeding spoons that I've been 'playing' around with.

A candy dish?

This is just a cute little candy dish (or whatever) that I hand carved.

Calling all cat lovers

I've done this in both light and dark woods. Hand carved.

Purely decorative spoon

This would be good either framed or just hung on a wall.
